Too Tired...

....to blog.
I am bursting at the seams with news, events, images and words. But instead I will just drop in, and news of parties, caravans and newly-forged fun connections can be made another time. Oh so dull I know! Sigh.
However.... I'm playing along with Pips meme. The theme of 'my secret weapon' is proving challenging. As pointed out yesterday, I am away from all these supportive family networks that many seemed to have identified this week. It has taken me a while to ponder exactly who or what fills that gaping gap left behind.
I have found the answer, and I know I bang on about this all the time so sorry to bore, but it really is my community that I draw strength from. From this wonderful party on cup day

to a very satisfying afternoon with some new friends yesterday.
The sense of belonging I gain and in return, the energy I try to put back in is always satisfying, and really not so secret!
And now for my nanna nap.

You're very lucky to have such an amazing community to fall back on and to carry you through the ups and downs. It is definitely a secret weapon. As the world grows I think a lot of people out there that are moving further and further away from community. It's so sad so hold tight to what you've got. It's gold!!

I've been waiting for those cupday photo's! What a fun day it was, I think I am in love with their caravan..oh and their house, and their garden. Coming second in the sweep was good too. You are so right about community, when people care about each other and give as much as they get it makes for a super duper fantstic secret/not so secret weapon! xo

Fabulous post! Very apt secret weapon. Suppose in some ways your community is your family ~ extended.
