Serene at sewing machine

Here it is!
Ta-da!
My new-to-me, much better with a lick of paint dining table. I love it. Now I just have to do the boring job of cleaning brushes.

I'm getting used to being alone. At first I was enjoying it, now I'm finding it strange not having any sort of accomplice in tow, be it gallery visiting, a trip to the shops or breakfast in town... it just feels kind of odd to be going solo again. From 5 to 1 is taking more adjustment than I first thought.
So I went to see this to cheer myself up,

My favourite Hans Heysen painting and Ballarat Art Galleries 'Great Collections' exhibition, well worth a look if your round and about. Brunch (alone) at Europa, knitting, movies, visiting friends, going out, a busy weekend felt oddly empty.

Hi beautiful, sorry I missed your call last week! So you got your new table, at last! Yay! It's not easy to adjust to change, give yourself some time. Who knows what new things are around the corner for you? Hang in there and keep doing good, fun, peaceful, kind things for yourself. It will get easier every day xo ps I really want to go to that exhibition...hmmmm..

There are so many people in this world who put up with bad relationships because being alone is just too damn hard. I know you are feeling lonely, but I am actually really happy for you. Sending giant love balls your way. xx

The table is gorgeous!
I've been on my own for nearly a year now (after 15 years not alone).
It's still weird nearly every day.
